Gary Dickinson has been serving the needs of hurting and broken people for nearly 40 years. Growing up in Tallahassee, Florida, Gary began his journey in his later teen years of helping and serving others. His path led him to graduate from Philadelphia Biblical University and later he earned a masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Over his career Gary has served others in many different capacities. He was the director of an addiction recovery program, administrative faculty of a Christian university and was the founding pastor of a church where he served for 11 years.
In 2006, God led Gary, his wife and a small group of believers to found Olive Branch Ministries to bring a hope and a future to the severely disadvantaged.
Gary’s wife, Judith Dickinson, is an accomplished portrait artist who has the unique ability to bring an image to “life” on canvas. Not only does the likeness of her subject have picture perfect exactness, but it also captures the essence of the subjects on the canvas. She was recently featured as artist in residence at the Denver Parade of Homes. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and her work is brokered in Colorado; New York City; Birmingham, Alabama; and Tampa, Florida.
Currently, Judith is using her talents to the tell stories, emotions and character of some of the orphans and widows of Rwanda and Uganda. Through this amazing visual prospective Judith is raising awareness of these remarkable people and their journeys.
